The DISA is a leading independent trainer providing specialised training courses for personnel associated with HMG protectively marked contracts.

The courses provide attendees with an insight into the interpretation of the Security Policy Framework (SPF) (formerly MoPS) and demonstrate well proven methods of working within the mandatory procedures set by HMG.

BTEC Assessment
The BTEC Level 2 examinations are multi-choice examinations of one hour duration. Examinations will be conducted at the end of each course following a short revision period.
Candidates may be permitted to re-sit the examination, if after their first attempt, not all questions are satisfactorily answered. Only one examination re-sit is permitted, candidates must then attend the course again (at full cost) in order to obtain the qualification.
Please note that BTEC Level 2 Certificates may take several months to be issued.
In order to sit the examination students must bring with them into the examination room Identification documents as detailed in list shown below:
Either 2 documents from Group A Or 1 document from Group A and 2 documents from Group B
Group A Documents
- Signed valid passport of any nationality or UK digital passport
- Signed UK photo driving licence (both parts of the full or provisional licence are Required)
- UK original birth certificate issued within 12 months of birth
- UK adoption certificate
Group B Documents
- Valid EU photo ID card.
- Valid UK firearms licence with photo.
- Signed UK paper driving licence.
- Marriage certificate or Civil Partnership certificate, with translation if not in English.
- UK birth certificate issued more than 12 months after date of birth, but not a photocopy.
- Non-UK birth certificate, with translation if not in English.
- P45 statement of income for tax purposes on leaving a job issued in the last 12 months.
- P60 annual statement of income for tax purposes issued in the last 12 months.
- Bank or building society statement issued to the candidate’s current address, less than three months old. You can use more than one statement as long as each is issued by a different bank or building society.
- Mortgage statement issued in the last 12 months.
- Utility bill (gas, electric, telephone, water, satellite, cable, mobile phone contract) issued to the candidate’s current address within the last three months. You can only use one utility bill.
- TV licence in candidate’s name and current address issued in last 12 months.
- Pension, endowment or ISA statement issued in last 12 months.
- Certificate of British nationality.
- British work permit or visa issued in last 12 months.
- Letter from H.M. Revenue & Customs, Department of Work and Pensions, employment service, or local authority issued within the last three months. You can use more than one letter as long as each is issued by a different Government department or a different local authority.
- A credit card statement sent to the candidate’s current address within the last three months. You can use more than one statement as long as each is issued by a different issuer.
- Council Tax statement issued in the last 12 months.
- Court summons issued in last 12 months.
- Child benefit book issued in last 12 months.
- A payslip with the candidate’s address and employer’s name or logo on provided it is less than three months old.
Course Administration
The training courses are held at Hilton Puckrup Hall Hotel and Golf Club, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire GL20 6EL.
Completed application forms should be sent direct to the DISA Administration Office.
Places can only be reserved, and an invoice raised, upon receipt of a completed, signed application form.
Details of how to get to the hotel will be included in the joining instructions to be sent to all delegates two to three weeks prior to the commencement of the course.
The cost of a taxi from Ashchurch train station is approximately £9.00. Contact the hotel on 01684 296200 for the number of a local taxi company. The cost of a taxi from Birmingham airport is approximately between £60.00 and £100.00.

Booking Conditions
It is a condition of booking that payment must be made before the date of the course. Joining instructions will be forwarded direct to delegates approximately 3 weeks before commencement of the course, provided payment has been received.
Cancellation & Transfer Policy
If you have to cancel your booking please do so in writing by email, fax or letter.
Cancellations made 30 working days or more before a course start date will not incur a charge.
Cancellations made later than 30 working days, but not less than 14 working days before a course start date, will incur a 25% administration fee.
Cancellations made less than 14 working days before a course start date will incur the cost of the full course fee.
Failure to attend a course will be regarded as a less than 14 day cancellation and your payment will be forfeited.
If you wish to transfer your booking to another course or to another person please do so in writing by email, fax or letter.
Transfer requests made between 30 and 14 working days before the original course start date will incur a 25% administration fee.
Transfer requests made less than 14 working days before a course start date will incur the full cost of course.
Transfers to another person made before 14 working days of the course start date will not incur a charge.
Transfers to another person made less than 14 workings days before the course start date will incur a 25% administration fee.
