Training

The Defence Industry Security Association (DISA), the leading independent trainer for over 25 years, provide specialised training courses for personnel associated with HMG protectively marked contracts. The courses provide attendees with an insight into the interpretation of the Manual of Protective Security (MoPS) and demonstrate well proven methods of working withing the mandatory procedures set by HMG.

All DISA training courses can be provided 'in-house' at individual Company premises upon request. Please contact the Administration Office for further details.

The training courses will be held at Abbey Hotel Redditch, Worcestershire.

Details of how to get there will be included in the joining instructions to be sent to all delegates two to three weeks prior to the commencement of the course.

Current Courses

Please note that these courses will be held at Abbey Hotel Golf & Country Club, Redditch, Worcestershire.

Please note that the BTEC examination requires completion of a Workbook (approx 8 Hours) which is to be submitted within two weeks of the course. Examination Certificates may take up to 6 months to be issued.

Candidates may have their Workbooks returned to them by the Assessor if, after their first attempt,  they have not satisfactorily answered all the questions.  The Workbook must, once again, be submitted by the date given, to the DISA Administration Office.  Candidates who fail to complete the Workbook satisfactorily on their second attempt will not be awarded the qualification.  Such candidates must re-sit the course and the examination (at full cost) in order to obtain the qualification.
